Aaron Chapman‘s Live at the Commodore: The Story of Vancouver’s Historic Commodore Ballroom (Arsenal Pulp Press, 2015) is a name dropping delight. The Commodore is closing in one one hundred years of operation. It seems like everyone has played there. The stories from in front of and behind the stage are legendary.
After so many years in operation the place is practically never dark. June will see Sebastian Bach, and Collective Soul. July it’s The Damned and Psychedelic Furs. Also soon Steve Earle and Chris Issac and of course 54 40 will do their tradition 2 night stand in October.
