Hey it’s Scott Alan,
The Guns N’ Roses reunion tour has been humming along nicely for a couple of years now and in a recent interview with USA Today, guitarist Slash confirmed it was singer Axl Rose who reached out to him about performing together again after more than two decades.
Slash recalls, “It was nice that it happened. I don’t know if I would have had the wherewithal to call him. It was really good to be able to get rid of some of the negative baggage that we’d been carrying around for a long time.”
As far as some new music, Metro.co.uk published news today (09/26/18) that the first new Guns N’ Roses album in 25 years is indeed on the way. Slash is writing new music and Axl “has a ton recorded already”.
Guns N’ Roses’ Not In This Lifetime tour resumes November 3rd in Monterrey, Mexico.
