An anchor for his namesake band, Fleetwood Mac, Mick Fleetwood has seen the group evolve from a pioneering blues combo to one of the biggest rock bands in the world.
A self-taught drummer, Mick learned the craft by listening and playing along to records. He eventually met bassist John McVie and guitarist Peter Green, and not long after, Fleetwood Mac was born.
Into the 70s, Mick recruited Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham to join the band and rounding out most famous (and successful) line up for Fleetwood Mac. Through trial and tribulation (and some great songs) Mick Fleetwood has kept the band he founded together and active.
