Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival 2024

Still Moon Arts Society is proud to announce the 22nd annual Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival. A fusion of art, nature, and community, this month-long festival celebrates the Harvest Moon, Still Creek, local art, and the diverse cultural traditions of the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood. Attendees can expect dazzling lanterns, live music, dance, food, art & nature workshops, and community performances.

Registration is open now for a series of workshops and intimate events that invite the community to connect with local nature, their creativity, and cultural traditions in the lead up to the main festival day.

Activities include making salmon lanterns and moon cakes, and guided tours that explore the history and wildlife of the Renfrew Ravine, one of Vancouver’s significant urban forests.

On Saturday September 14th, enjoy an afternoon of Tea, Tunes & Verse, with spoken word and music performances in an open-air gallery of naturally dyed fabrics and weavings.

To mark the Harvest Moon, Walk the Renfrew Ravine Labyrinth on Tuesday September 17th. Embrace the changing seasons with a mindful walking meditation.

The ultimate family-friendly fun awaits on the #RenfrewRavineMoonFestival main day, which will be celebrated on September 21st from 4:00 to 9:30 PM around the Renfrew Ravine area:
