Immerse yourself in visions of wetlands at this year’s Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival!
The Wetlands theme is reflected in illuminated art, live music, interdisciplinary performances and workshops from September 12th to October 4th. All events are free at this annual festival, which connects arts, nature, and diverse cultural traditions in Vancouver’s Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood.
Highlights include Voices in the Garden on September 20 — an inspiring afternoon filled with music, poetry, and art-making at the Colour-Me-Local Natural Dye Garden — and a Full Moon Labyrinth Walk on September 22 — a walking meditation with live music to welcome the autumn season.
The main events take place on October 4th. Travel along with the crowd from the Harvest Fair along the Twilight Lantern Procession and on to Streamside Lanterns. The entire experience is a 5-hour journey from 4 PM to 9 PM that passes through 2 different parks and transitions between different atmospheres and experiences along the way.
