Walk in honour of a loved one and raise funds for our community!
Crossroads Hospice Society has been providing compassionate support to those facing end-of-life and their loved ones since 1988. Today we have over 250 volunteers, a stand-alone hospice, Grief & Loss Support Centre, Thrift Store, and a Labyrinth Healing Garden.
“After two virtual hikes, we are excited to finally invite you to join us at this year’s HIKE FOR HOSPICE, in support of Crossroads Hospice Society! Walk in honour of a loved one and raise funds for our community. The event is taking place IN-PERSON* on Sunday, May 29th, 2022 from 9:30am-12:00pm at the Port Moody Civic Centre to help promote the importance of hospice care and raise much needed funds for end-of-life care and grief support for our community.”

Hike for Hospice is a pledge-based, national, annual family event which raises funds to support people living with a terminal illness and their loved ones. The purpose of the 5KM walk is not only to raise much needed funds, but to raise awareness of the many challenges faced by hospice palliative care and to promote the wonderful work that all volunteers and professionals in the field perform daily. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised at Hike for Hospice stay in our community.
Join thousands of others across Canada, hiking in support of hospice palliative care or in memory of a loved one. We encourage hikers of all ages and abilities, as well as their beloved four-legged friends, to come out for this fun community event that is growing larger every year.
