McHappy Day returns on Wednesday, May 11th this year.
On McHappy Day, a portion of the proceeds from every menu item sold all day long goes to
RMHC and other children’s charities across Canada. Every purchase, all day, supports families with sick children staying at RMHC, and local children’s
charities. McHappy Day is McDonald’s Canada’s largest charity-driven program. Since its inception in 1977, McHappy Day has helped RMHC support more than 436,000 families across Canada.
What’s new about McHappy Day? “This year, we’ll be using music to share the happy by creating #McHappyDay mixes – a collection of the happiest music in Canada curated by some of our favourite Canadian DJs. You know better than anyone else the power music has to connect us together, so why not use that feeling to share the happy in anticipation of the happiest day of the year? “
How does McHappy Day support RMHC? “All day, a portion of the proceeds from every food and beverage item sold will support Ronald McDonald House Charities® programs and local children’s charities across Canada.”
