This summer, Caribbean Days Festival returns to Coquitlam’s Town Centre Park for the hottest weekend of the year.
Each year, during the last weekend of July, the Trinidad & Tobago Cultural Society of BC presents the Caribbean Days Festival. This event draws a crowd of exuberant fun-lovers for a weekend of parading, dining, socializing (liming) and dancing in the sunshine. This is a weekend of tropical rhythm, cuisine, carnival and culture as only the Caribbean can offer.
Over the years, the Festival has grown into the largest Caribbean event on the local calendar. With up to 60,000 people attending annually, it is one of the largests cultural events of its type in BC, period.
Everyone is welcome. The crowd at Caribbean Days is fully multicultural and the event is 100% inclusive.
That includes kids! Although there are alcoholic beverages available for purchase, they can be consumed anywhere within the event grounds. Parents do not have to separate from their children while enjoying a nice cold craft beer.

Town Centre Park; Access to Caribbean Days is very handy. Town Centre Park at Coquitlam’s Lafarge Lake is conveniently located near Coquitlam Centre, a well-known transit hub. As a result, the park can be reached easily via both car and Skytrain.
