Each year, people from across Metro Vancouver gather at Grouse Mountain to climb the Grouse Grind. Participants join together to hike, fundraise and show people living with dementia they are not alone.
The Alzheimer’s Society of BC are thrilled to be back in person this year to celebrate the 11th anniversary of the Climb! Join them as they take on the legendary hike at the base of Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
“Together, we can help build a province where people living with dementia, their caregivers, and their families are acknowledged, supported and included: a truly dementia-friendly B.C. On September 24, brave 2,830 steps up the Grouse Grind to show people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias they don’t have to face this uphill journey alone. Will you have the courage to climb?”
