The Vancouver Sun Run is Canada’s largest 10k road race. Run through a beautiful scenic course that highlights Vancouver ‘s downtown core starting at Burrard and Georgia heading North to Denman street. The course runs through Vancouver’s West End to the English Bay waterfront and then heads east along Beach and Pacific Ave with scenic views of the waterfront. The runners then head south across the Burrard street Bridge and pass along South False Creek and Mount Pleasant neighbourhoods. The runners head past Science world and Finish outside the iconic BC Place Stadium.
Join us in downtown Vancouver on Sunday, April 16, 2023 for an in-person 10K, complete with a scenic course of the city. Whether you run, walk or jog, there’s something for everyone. Race starts at 9 AM.
What’s included in your entry:
● Souvenir technical shirt and Race Bib with Timing Tag for 10K runners
● Teams will have team name/logo on the back of the technical shirt
● Water Stations and Live Entertainment along the course
● Post-Race Party at BC Place
Only runners, joggers, walkers and wheelchairs are permitted. Dogs, skateboards, wagons, in-line skates, scooters, roller skis, bicycles and vehicles are strictly prohibited. Participants with these items will be removed from the course and will be disqualified. For safety purposes, participants with walking poles, strollers, baby joggers or recreational wheelchairs MUST start in the Walk with Pacific Blue Cross section (1hr:46 min+) at the back of the pack and must walk the route. You must accept the risks of participating in a race with over 40,000 entrants. Please read the release and waiver carefully before entering.
