Angus McKinnon Young was born in Glasgow, Scotland and raised in Sydney, Australia where he would go on to co-found AC/DC at the age of 18.
After a number of failed stage costumes including Spider-Man, Zorro, a gorilla, and a parody of Superman named Super-Ang. Angus finally settled on his now iconic school boy look. But there was never anything childish about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees talent.
With a litany of iconic rock songs under his belt including Thunderstruck, Back in Black, Highway to Hell and many more, Angus has solidified his place in the annals of rock history.
Join us on March 31st at 6pm with Scott Alan as we play the biggest songs of his career.
It’s the Angus Young Big 6 at 6 only on Rock 101!
