Career defining.
In the simplest terms, U2’s The Joshua Tree was a career defining album that launched U2 into superstardom.
Released on March 9, 1987, ‘The Joshua Tree’ combines visual imagery with spiritual themes, the flavours ran from blues to gospel to folk, but if you listen closely, underpinning it all, the album is rooted in the humility of four guys from Ireland, coming to America to chase their dreams.
We’re taking it back to 1987 to relive the masterpiece and play the album in full and uninterrupted on Thursday, March 9th at 6 p.m. – hosted by Robin LaRose.
